So, Let's Answer Your Frequently Asked Fee & Insurance Questions
Your most commonly asked fee and policy questions
What you'll discover when you work with me:
Connection Problems or Internet Failings
Do you take insurance?
No, I do not accept insurance at this time. If you would still like to work with your insurance, your insurance may provide some reimbursement. To help, I can provide a monthly superbill that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement. You'll request this every month from me. Insurance typically denies couples therapy unless you get diagnosed with a mental health disorder.
What is your cancellation policy?
To cancel a scheduled therapy session, a minimum of 24 hours in advance of your session is required. If prior and timely notification is not given, you will be charged for the missed session.
What happens if we can't connect?
Your free consultation is given to you for no fee so we can work through your connection, distractions in the household, and other problems that can come up. If we do this and there are still problems, we will try to use other ways to connect than through the Simple Practice app or website. In general, wifi will be more stable than your regular cellular internet service and a direct connection into your router will provide the best results.

There is also an app in your phone app store called: Telehealth by SimplePractice that can help you try different ways to connect. It may cause your phone to run hot, so I tend to prefer a computer connection for msyelf.
